Last updated: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Der Die Fox mobile application (the “App”) published by Pikandi. It explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including how advertising is shown in the App through Google AdMob.

- Feedback or support requests
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
We may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- Anonymous usage statistics from the app
- Error logs and performance data
- Device advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where available and permitted on your device)
- Ad impression and interaction data when advertisements are displayed
We do not collect personally identifiable information unless explicitly required for a specific feature or disclosed below for advertising purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:

Images and texts you provide are processed only to deliver learning features. Advertising data is processed separately as described below.
3. Advertising and Google AdMob
Der Die Fox is free to use and supported by advertisements. We use Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC, to display ads in the App.
When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process information such as:
- Device advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID on Android, Apple IDFA on iOS where permitted)
- IP address and general location derived from IP (not precise GPS from us for ads)
- Device type, operating system, language, and App version
- Ad delivery, impression, click, and interaction data
This information may be used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and—only where you have consented where required by law—personalize advertising.
3.1 Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before serving personalized advertising or using similar technologies where required by law (including the EU GDPR and ePrivacy rules).
When you open the App, you may be shown a consent message that lets you:
- Accept or reject personalized advertising
- Choose which data uses and partners you allow, where applicable
- Review how your data is used for advertising
If you do not consent to personalized ads, we may still show non-personalized advertisements. You can change your advertising choices later through any privacy or consent settings shown in the App, or by contacting us using the details below.
3.2 Your Advertising Choices
You can limit ad personalization using:
- In the App: the consent or privacy options presented when you use Der Die Fox
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (wording may vary by device), or reset/delete your advertising ID
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising

We do not sell your personal information. Google and other ad partners process data under their own privacy policies and, where applicable, as service providers processing data on our behalf.
4. Image and Text Processing
- Uploaded images and extracted text are processed automatically.
- Images may be temporarily transmitted to secure servers or third-party AI services to perform analysis.
- We do not use your uploaded images or text for advertising or ad profiling.
- We do not sell user data.
- Where possible, data is processed transiently and not stored longer than necessary.

- Google AdMob — advertising and ad measurement (Google LLC)
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
- AI-based text and image analysis
- Translation services
- Cloud infrastructure, authentication, and analytics (including Google Firebase where applicable)
These providers process data only to deliver their services to us or directly to you as described in this policy. They are subject to their own privacy and security obligations. Where required, we use agreements that limit how they may use personal data.
6. Data Storage and Retention
- We retain data only for as long as needed to fulfill the requested service.
- Temporary processing data may be deleted automatically after completion.
- You may request deletion of stored data where applicable.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
